Don’t get caught up in the small stuff
I have a friend who is an excellent writer and loves working on the Internet. Well we all know that good writers are at a premium on the Internet so this post should be about what a success he is being.
Only he’s hardly making any money at all.
Every day, he sits at his computer and writes away - but he writes posts to various Internet Marketing forums. He produces all this great content and then gives it away.
Posting to forums can be a good thing. Apart from the positive community aspect, it enables people to know you as a person and it gets your sites known. But it should never be more than a side activity that you do from time to time.
As a business person, don’t get too caught up in the details of the Internet. Get the Internet working for you and not you working for the Internet.
